Seat identification please

Hi All,

We have in our museum store (Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre) an unidentified seat and would be very grateful if anyone can confirm what type of aircraft it was fitted to please? We can then place it up for disposal so that hopefully it might be of use to another museum in the first instance or perhaps a private project so that it isn’t just left gathering dust.
