If the commemorative flight does actually take place it is worth remmbering that the original route included the UK. Stops were made at Brough (to replace the wheeled u/c with floats) and Orkney.

I was unaware of the whole project! Thanks for posting. Looking forward to them flying it around the world – that’s quite a challenge with an original Liberty engine to deal with!
