Second runway at London City?

Take a look at this picture:

If you look to the left of the runway across the dock their appears a small runway. Does anyone know what this is please?

Ditto. I believe ramp space has always been at a premium at LCY, so would it be feasible to build more ramp area on the “Red Bull” side and conect to the main airport via a causeway/taxiway? I guess that would mean bussing passengers out to the aircraft there though.

Yes, that is the ‘Red Bull’ airfield and also where the 146 was repaired after its oopsy.

I think it was put in place for when London hosted the redbull air race.
