Does anyone have a photo of the rear fuselage lifting bar in use, was there a particular type of shackle that connected to the ends of this bar.
Secondly I’m seeking a copy of a German film production entitled ‘The Undertakers Paradise’. This film featured shots of a replica 109G.
Advance thanks

Never thought to give the shackles a look, to be honest; I’m well away from my books at the moment (currently in Arkansas on business), but will go through them when I return and see if I can nail something down for you. For others looking in, first place I’m going to look is Schiffer’s “German Airfield Equipment” book…

The Aero Vintage example was restored for static display and air freighted to the National Aviation Museum at Rockliffe,Ottawa in the mid-90’s.

Is this the replica which still survives (in fuselage if not complete form) at a collectors home/farm in the North York moors. Was featured in flypast several moons ago with a picture of BF109 replica outside in the yard.
More knowledgeable heads than mine will no doubt fill in the gaps.
