I’m closing rapidly in on an end of my book project and I’m looking for a few pictures..
FW190 (the one flying in Germany would be fine) in the air
Hawker Typhoon
Lockheed Hudson
PM if anyone got something in their collections and willing to help out 😀

Forgive me, sir :p
Could you be a bit more specific?
Yes I can. Norwegian fighter pilot Major Finn Thorsager, first Norwegian in battle with German forces, Little Norway instructor, serving in both 331 and 332 Sqd, the latter as squadron leader until summer 1943. Later in Transport Command and then on the Scotland – Sweden BOAC route flying Lockheed Hudsons. One of the few pilots flying Gladiators in combat.
What book project?
See above
What type of photos? (Action, period, interior, profile shots etc.?)
Lockheed Hudson in civilian colors, but I’m not picky and anything will do.
FW190 in flight would be preferable.
Hawker Typhoons around D-Day, but again I’m not picky.
A B-25 Mitchell would also be fun.

Didn’t know Wikipedia photos was in public domain.
I’ll dig into them 😀
And if you answer the questions (and, incidentally publicise your book) you might get further offers of help. 😎

Wikimedia commons is a good place to look for such pictures, here are some links to searches for those aircraft. Read the license for each individual picture, but most are public domain.
Also remember than ANY US military picture from WWII is public domain and can be used no matter what current source.

You might wanna find a FW190 in German markings 🙂
