I tried to paste everything but the photos didnt arrive!!this thread was on the http://www.ybw.com,a boating forum they appear in a forum called the Lounge under old stuff.,there are pictures of these items, chap wanted to know the best thing to do with them, they were his grandfathers.
“Just sorting through some old books, as we’re moving house (with any luck!) and came across some of my grandads books.
An RFC Technical Notes Manual (he’s made adjustments to some of the data with actual data), its engineers notes for three rotary engins (Clerget, Monosoupape, Gnome).
Pilot’s Notes for a Vampire FB.5
And a list of flying boat spares with costs for Catalina’s etc. (he had an intresting war from the IOW to RAF Greenock)
Thing is what the heck do I do with them, don’t want to throw them and dont want to keep them? (I have scanned them)
Any ideas, intresting stuff though.”

wl745, are you registered on that forum? As well as other aviation stuff, I do a lot of Royal Flying Corps living history – working with the RAF Museum, doing documentaries etc, and as I usually do it as an Air Mechanic, the RFC technical notes would be of great use and interest for myself
