Here is the new thread for all relevant ebay sightings on ebay in 2018

Now this is baffling, why would this company start listing items with the most ludicrous prices, the Tornado hsi with a buy it know price of just under £2k can be easily bought on EBay for £60. I messaged them firstly to say an industrial hydraulic gauge was not F4 or even aircraft, and queried what was going on with their pricing. Bizarrely they said sorry I was upset and you could make an offer ????.
I advised them the questionable F4 console box at just shy of £1 k, I had a couple of big boxes of F4 console stuff they could have at a mere £500 per item, oddly I got no reply.
Dealers on EBay who fill their Boots at the tender sales and ask stupid prices on EBay is the norm but I thought this was a sensible company ?.

Considering the cost to make an airworthy one now, to be able to use a NOS one with just cleaning and inspection, I’d say that asking price is pretty fair actually!

Hi GYD,
Wow! Who’d ever have thought a NOS Mosquito throttle box would remain in its box all these years.

Brand new ‘old’ stock Mosquito throttle box but, with a 21st Century hefty price tag!!

it’s not n H type mask. Looks to be an M type, very much a postwar piece of equipment.

Oxygen mask Type H
Owner has contacted me to see if he is correct as he wants to make sure the listing is accurate

RAF Spitfire clock
And I quote
“This is a beautiful clock and has never been taken out of the box, still in original packaging.”
and the best place for it, personally I would put it back in the box, dig an unmarked grave for it and bury it for future generations to find and laugh at. Yeah Gods, man can make some really gawd awful tacky things……..
Go on, tell me you like it..

If you fancy a massive aviation related barney at Christmas with your other half, then decorate your tree with these
I thought I had seen it all with the Aircraft Art, Man Cave, Steampunk, Upcycle, furniture that probably would pull down your wall or fall through the floor nonsense on EBay until now

whats left is in pretty nice condition, it is a fairly typical dug DB engine, in that the front gets badly trashed on it’s subterranean journey
By: smirky - 24th August 2018 at 15:25
Haha I didn’t spot that – the pilot must have selected Economy Mode.
By: Junk Collector - 24th August 2018 at 12:37
that’s hopeful for a V8 version
