A very interesting perspective. I still think Mr Ramsey’s a first rate tosser though! 😀
Paul

Mum makes Gordon apologize.

His comments, while certainly deplorable, were no worse than some of the stuff that I see posted in here sometimes.
Does anyone remember the ‘Jade Goody’ thread, or the ‘Women’ thread that I deleted the other day?
I could name names, but I won’t.

now he has apologised say Sky News
“”It was stupid and very careless but it wasn’t meant to hurt in any way,” he told Channel Nine.
Ramsay’s grovelling unreserved apology comes after he made comments about a national TV current affairs programme host Tracy Grimshaw.
“Tracy, where do I start? First of all, you’ve shown me great respect and amazing support over the last three or four years and I’d just like to take this opportunity to apologise for the stupid comments and am deeply mortified that the whole thing has gone this far. My apologies,” Ramsay said.
He repeatedly likened Ms Grimshaw to Miss Piggy in massive photos projected on screen at cooking master classes attended by thousands of Australians.
Ramsay also revealed his mother Helen had telephoned and gave the Michelin-starred chef a “bollocking”.
“Humble pie is something from this day on I will be eating every day for breakfast,” he added.”
“Gone too far” – does that mean “harm my potential book/tv show revenues in Australia”?……

Do we have to have him back ? another product of reality TV who thinks that the “F” word will make him famous, hang on, it did. Shoots holes in my lecture to the kids on swearing then…..
He really is a nasty piece of work…..
I can’t believe how many people are enamored by this potty mouthed clown and by his contrived television show

Yes, he comes across like a jerk
BUT..he’s a hard working one…and I really think he cares about the quality of his food.
Let’s face it, we give people who are successful in their careers a lot of leeway in life.
Actors, singers, authors, generals, fighter pilots, politicians, doctors, etc, etc….all get a pass on their misdeeds because they’re good at what they do.
Is it fair?
Probably not.
