I think the lens is a 500mm prime?? First time I’ve seen one at an airshow.

I saw at least one of those lenses at Legends, but it was supported by a monopod – surely a professional wouldn’t hand-hold such a monster?

That’s the sort of lens I see press snappers use at football matches all the time. Handy for player close up’s and tackles at long range.

In these security conscious days I’m surprised he hasn’t been asked to prove it’s not a shoulder launched SAM.
