Setter to Raid the UK soon!!!!

Hi all

Mrs Setter has managed to land herself a highly paid job exec in the Phillipines and I am tasked with going over there to settle her into her new highly secure bunker. This is to occur in about six weeks time – after which I was thinking of sneeking off for a lightning raid on the UK to catch up with Duxford, Hendon and Yeovalton plus any other sites that take my fancy- I was there last year but Hendon looked lika a bomb had hit it etc .

Anybody want to meet up !!!!

I will bring Pics and Video from downunder for entertainment if required..
Kindest regards
John Parker

Hey John,

Excellent !!
NZ beer has moved on since those days.
Steinlager is world-wide acclaimed and DB is a good drop too (my fav).

Have a stool booked for ya at the Local bar here in Wellington !!

John, do you have any idea what you’ve let yourself in for…? 😀

More than happy to join the band of volunteers to help show you around. As for events on during that time, Legends has already been mentioned and is a cornerstone of the airshow calendar over here. The Shuttleworth Collection is also well worth penning into your itinerary. Take your pick from; Evening Air Display on Sat 19th June, RAeS and Rolls Royce Garden Party and Air Display on Sun 27th June, and the 1930’s Summer Air Display on Sun 4th July.

Hope that helps.

John…I’d be more than happy to show you around Duxford 🙂

As Andy in Beds said, give us some dates and we’ll work from those 🙂

Uk.

John
send us the dates and I’m sure some of the regulars will want to hook up.
Count me in.
Once we know the dates we can sort something out.
Don’t forget legends is on 10/11th July.
All the best
Andy 🙂 🙂

When ya get to NZ, I’m keen to meet up but the Northern Hemisphere is a bit of my league….. 😀

Waiting with great anticipation to shout you lots of fine NZ beers and hear about the ‘nam aviation tales 😉

Cheers
Chris
