Great shots! 😀

By road. 😉
Remember, this isn’t American football. For a domestic away fixture, most UK clubs will only travel with a 16-18 man squad and a small support staff.
That’s fair enough. Thanks for that Lance.

Ill have the car from the start of March as well Paul :).

Great as ever Lance. I’m looking forward to spending some time at MAN when my new toy arrives. I may even (finally) get to out check the AVP!

Well that’s not very roomy travel for an entire football squad, a small RJ that seats 50. Where does all their gear go?

It’s only a guess, but I think it might have brought Manchester United back up from their Saturday evening match against Portsmouth. United seem to use G-ELNX quite a lot for travel within the UK.

the worst bit of summer holidays is flying back home to return to work and is always made doubly worse by having to return to Ringway…..
Why ? – i hear you ask…
…because you start your descent in glorious sunshine and inevitably, just as the Captain announces “Cabin crew – seats for landing”, the plane slices through that famous manchester low cloud and the whole cabin is plunged into darkness and gloom and from there on in you cant see anything out of the windows because of the rain !!!!!
… Which is when you realise you still have shorts, t-shirt and sandals on…. 🙂

GA, do you know why it was parked there?

A very nice red-haired lady got aboard just before it departed, but I think she was crew. 🙂

The CRJ-200 Regional Jet is owned by Eurolynx and is based at
Farnborough, but you can see it all over the country and in europe
as it gets about alot! 😉 It came from Ansett Australia (was VH-KXJ)
and was never painted into a different livery!
Maybe they just like the star on the tail 🙂

That stand is normally for BA Connect, bmiRegional, Eastern and VLM isn’t it!
Fantastic shots again Lance, especially with the weather being the norm :diablo:
Cheers,
Sam

Looks like a business charter airline based at Farnborough. Bit of a rubbishy hybrid though.
