Bomber Command Losses states……

Hampden I. L4194 ZN-

T/O Finningley. Hit by flak and crashed in the sea off Lorient (Morbihan), France. Two bodies were recovered from the water and buried in Boismoreau Communal Cemetery at Vannes.

Operation was Gardening.

Where would we be without Mr. Chorley?
