Can anyone help please?
We are trying to locate ex – RAF Sgt E P Smooker who served in the Medical Branch as a Theatre Technician in the mid 1960s serving at the RAF Hospital Ely and also at Akrotiri.
During his time at Ely he undertook a restoration of their Gate Guard aircraft – Meteor NF14 WS774 as well as writing a book ” Ely’s Night Fighter” on the Meteor and the NF14 type published by the Services Publishing Services in Corby.
Any help much appreciated.

Apologies for delayed reply having been away, I believe his name might have been Paul but that is not a certainty. Given it is an unusual name and the initials match it seems they might be one and the same.

Know what his 1st name is?
The electoral register for the UK in 2003 gives one E P Smooker, living in county Durham. This of course assumes a) he’s still alive, and b) he’s living in the UK – hence my question about his 1st name.
