Hello all
Thought you would like to see the above photos.The photo was sent to me by Sgt Batt some 20 + years ago,when i was working for large shower company as the service manager,mr Batt called in to say his new shower was faulty,and over a period of days we spoke many times on the telephone.He told me many stories of his time with 238 Hurrican Sqdn.I have just orderd his book from Bobhs,and look forward to see if a few of those stories are in there.

Hi all,
Atached is a close up photograph of the Batt emblem on the side of his hurricane. This was painted on by his groundcrew.
Also a copy of his portrait by Cuthbert Orde completed in 1940.
I hope you enjoy them.

I have a signed copy of the book and from what I remember it was a very interesting read. I also have a signed copy of that same photograph somewhere, signed on the front.
My signed copy of the book? A whopping £3.50 from the second hand book section of a local Aviation Museum.
