For a good friend i looking for information about his great Uncle Sgt Lykele Faber “Alias Lodewijk Fokker”. Lykele Faber was parachuted with his Jedburgh team(Codename Daniel II) on the 17th September 1944 in the neighbourhood of Son. Maybe a needle in a haystack but is it known which aircraft Lykele Faber was parachuted and who the other “passengers” were??? All info is more than welcome.
Best Wishes,
Adrian

Many,Many Thanks Hendrik much appreciate your contribution in this thread!! I am glad that we know now
who was participated in Jedburgh team Daniel II. Also we know now in which aircraft they flew. Maybe someone
can help with the “passengerlist” of the second, sixth and ninth aircraft that brought 101st A/B Div, 502 Regt and
Div HQ to the DZ at Son on the 17th Sept 1944????

From ‘Operatie Jedburgh, Geheime geallieerde missies in Nederland 1944-1945’, a 2014 publication of the NIMH:
Jedburgh team Daniel II
Luitenant A. Du Bois (dutch)
Sergeant L. Faber (dutch)
Major R.K. Wilson
Sergeant G.W. Mason
They flew with aircraft that brought 101st Airborne Division, 502nd Regiment and Division HQ. Du Bois was in the second aircraft, Wilson in the sixth and the other two in no.9.
