It comes with great sadness that we have to anounce the passing of the most senior member of the museum and The Lancashire Aircraft Investigation Team, W/O Ryszard Danilo-Sniezowski who was a pilot with No’s 307, 304 sqaudrons and No 10 AGS, he passed away quietly on Friday 2nd January after a short illness at the age of 91.
He worked tirlessly to keep the memory of his fallen comrades alive amongst other projects he was involved in and was working as much as possible at the end.
Richard was a real gentleman and will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
