Commenced dismantling today, we removed access panels to the engine mounts, oil pipe work etc, ready to lift the engines, lots of stuff rusted & seized but got there in the end, hopefully next time we’ll be removing the Griffons and moving on to the next stage.
Sadly some of it is not a pretty sight, but once safely off MoD land the team can examine and address these issues.
by far the worst panel, completely disintegrated
