Point taken – I forgot about that 😉

Ebay

Now, thinks.

I’ve got this exotic aircraft to sell.

How can I get world wide publicity with minimum effort and without spending any money.

Hmmm.

I am not too enamoured with the Seller’s rating of 7, all from sellers, I’d like to see a bit more provenance before I bid a 100th of that money!

I like the bid retraction of 7 1/2 mil, digit problem :p

So far this year I have seen quite a few Static ones, including a Whirlwind & Hunter, (Tempting at £2k!) and also the occasional flying one albeit a bit further down the scale (Auster AOP!)

I did discuss with a well-known collector at a party over the summer, the feasibility of trading classic jets on E-bay, he was enthusiastic but unsure, he may start with a clearout of his spares inventory….

Hmm. Well, only one I can remember is HFL’s Spit 18 a few years ago. But, I have since barred myself from looking at eBay! :p

The current high bidder is at over $750,100.00

His previous purchase was a balsa model of an AT-6 at $22.00 😎

Do you think he has misplaced the decimal point?

What amazes me is the number of people who are prepared to bid half a million dollars on e-bay. There’s quite a few different bidders there.

None, as far as I can tell, own a pub in Lancashire
