Airlines are buying planes such as 380, which are just at the planning stage. How committed the airlines are, are they already paying some money to the manufacturer or starting to train staff? And what if they eventually doesn’t want what they have ordered?
I suppose they sign an agreement which could be broken but at high costs. On the other hand, planes are developed according to airlines needs even the A380.
