Janie, i take it you were there on Sunday? If so you dont happen to know the reg number of the Piper 31 there do you? Creamy colour with a green line under the windows? I think is an Irish Reg, but not 100% on that.

Regarding the weather; although, I agree, it looked awful, we managed to fly from North Weald to Leicester and back via Turweston at over 2000 feet and only came across two tiny clouds. The visibility was as perfect as it could possibly get and the wind was unmemorable.

I think they had about 100 movements at Turweston that day, so that’s pretty good.

Hi Janie, sadly no I didnt. 🙁 Would have been a nice and rare sight. I was only there for about an hour, weather wasnt great so decided to call it a day.
