Good shots despite the grey skies though we had much better conditions on the Sunday.

Looks as though the light conditions were not very favourable.

Correct, much of Saturday’s display was flown under pretty solid dull, grey, overcast, so saw weak lighting and little texture to the sky/background. However at times the overcast did break, and/or sunlight broke through. As a result I guess most peoples ‘close up’ or cropped shots will therefore look very “flat”.

Haven’t been through my photos yet, but I note Axel has included a couple of shots of the two large R/C “Hawk-like” jets – they were an excellent “lunchtime act” along with the other large R/C models, and the later display pairing of a “real” Extra being flown in parallel with a R/C “half size(?)” Extra was really impressive.

Nice pics Axel, despite the challenging lighting (or lack thereof!).
