Shoreham is always one of my favourite large air shows. Once there were others like it such as Biggin Hill, The Great Warbirds Air display at West Malling, Fighter Meet at North Weald but Shoreham is the only one left of its kind.
A varied, something for everybody show where the needs of afamily day out, Joe public and the more enthused meet on common ground.
Aerobatic displays were nice to watch though being at the far end of the airfield tended to pull away from us but nevertheless very photogenic.
Later in the day, I ended up occasionally walking as far as I could to the end of the crowd line to get sunnier pictures of some of the more historic aircraft, even on the odd occasion taking pictures of formations that were still far out and sometimes when they were behind the airfield
Thanks to the excellent visibility a few were ripe for cropping.
