Took a trip down to Shoreham (Brighton City – as its now known!) today – had some nice weather, warmish, but with a bit of hazy sky to spoil it.
Not really for this forum, but thought you’d like a gander at these pics anyhow.
Enjoy! 🙂

And it was by a Mod!
Shame that Andrew no longer posts on here, one of the forums very best members, see his last action on the forum was on the 8th of January, must be very busy at the moment.

Nice pics! That was me in G-BICW. After an attempt to fly to Shobdon I ended up at Shoreham (well’ the first three letters are the same!). A journey of 2 1/2 hours!

Nice pictures. That’s me flying G-AXTA – the white Cherokee with red / orange stripes. Thanks to Macky for pointing me in the direction of this thread.
If you got any more of me then I’d love to have a copy!
Cheers,
Simon.

Nice to see it turned out well. The Staggerwing and Airmaster from Popham were due down there but the reports of visibility were pretty bad. In the end the Gullwing Stinson from White Waltham turned up at Popham and we went to Compton Abbas and then on to the fly-in at Kemble (although the Airmaster diverted). Very pleasant day, Popham to Compton and Compton to Kemble in the Stinson and then back to Popham in the Staggerwing. It was only frustrating because the flight testing on the Rearwin Cloudster is not finished so we could only get three radials into the air!

Hi all, thanks for your comments.
J.V. see the attached pics. 🙂 Enjoy! (The pic with two people in it was taken last year – the other was taken yesterday)
B-17 Buff – I was down there for the aerojumble as well as for taking pics. 🙂 Didnt find anything in the jumble that took my fancy… i was there for the model’s side of things – but all out of my price range – no bargins to be had.
