An interesting and unusual find from ex-CARG deep storage…
A pair of Short Stirling Control Sprocket assemblies as located in the roof of the aft section of the fuselage (circled in yellow) which guide the cable chains of the tail control surfaces.
Pert numbers are: 6291118A and NA4663 on both examples. Both examples have been stabilised and treated with grey etch primer.
Both sprockets rotate on each example.
