Has you’ve probably seen, me and the family attended Newark’s Cockpit Fest over the weekend, and has it was Fathers Day on the Sunday, my boys bought me a Shorts Sterling Bl/lll 1:72 scale, the model is superb,
but its got me thinking about the Sterling, are there any in Museum’s in the UK that i could go take alook at? It looks a truly huge aircraft and one id love to see.

Stirling on its way….. in time
I’m sure we will see one, its only a matter of time (and some money). I have already been amazed by the power of aviation enthusiasts the World over just by reading the items that are posted on this forum and to see what has already been achieved by those who are determined to put a Stirling together again. It will happen I’m sure.

M A P S have a set of Stirling tail wheelβs at Rochester, recovered from a crash site in Holland, I think. Shame there are no complete examples left, would have loved to seen one. π
