I think he’s referring to the strobe lights
The anti-collision light is the Boeing term for the beacon (usually red coloured pulsing light) rather than the strobes.

Wow, didn’t know Thomson were fitting the -300’s with ‘pointy things’, looks great! Seen the new TOM 738 at LBA the last couple of days (G-FDZA? I think…), and that looks great with winglets too.

Ahh, yes. It was the Air Plus Comet/Hamburg International one I was referring to.
The Thomson 737 looks pretty decent though.

Seeing the 737-700 with winglets has got me thinking. I saw a photo fairly recently and was VERY surprised to see that it was a 737-300 with winglets. Apparently, this is the only one of its kind. Can anyone remind me of the airline?
There are quite a few -300 with winglets, the first (i believe) was EC-IPS Air Plus Comet, others are SN Brussels, Virgin Express, Hamburg Airlines.
