Qantas has gone from being a loyal Boeing customer to an Airbus customer.
Ansett had a fleet of A320s that were very popular with the flying public.
Air New Zealand has just ordered A320s after being a loyal Boeing customer.
Virgin Blue has just ordered about 50 NG 737s,do you think they should have considered Airbus, also does Virgin fly the A320 anywhere else in the world??????

Well i believe that DJ is considering to order airbus aircraft they should scrap their Boeing, as then they would still have a total fleet commonolity therefore reducing costs.

Well weren’t Airbus and Boeing each pretty even in the race for the order? However, each aircraft has relatively the same operating costs and would both complement their South Pacific expansion so why in the end should they have moved from their current fleet strategy?

Absolutely.
It’s like easyJet isn’t it? A similar sort of airline that flew only Boeing aircraft and then came the surprise announcement that they would be purchasing many brand new A319s.

They used to fly either an A320 or A321 on the LHR-ATH route. They no longer fly this route so no longer have this aircraft.
