Shuttle Idea

I was just thinking seeing that Gold Coast has a lot of growth in tourism and all that i was wondering why dont Qantas set up like a shuttle service using say and Embraer 170 or 145 or a frequency of hourly, hour and half, or 2 hour apart departure times, i believe that this would encourage passengers to take advantage of this especially as i know that heaps of passengers travel by train or taxi from Brisbane which is quite expensive and if they include Gold Coast as their final destination it would end up a litter cheaper maybe, any ideas on this, please tell me!
