Managed a short look around Shuttleworth today and was very pleased by what I found, the exhibits as you all know, are excellent and the other artifacts that surround the aircraft are just as interesting as the aircraft themselves. Lots of things to touch and play with without being ‘interactive’ in the computer sense that I find quite un-appealing. All of the display boards for each aircraft are bang up to date showing modern photos on them and on the walls were some very recently taken photos giving an overall impression of attention to detail being paid by the staff quite unlike other museums I’ve visited. The fact that all of the exhibits move or fly is also quite exceptional something I haven’t come across before. I took a few photos but they aren’t earth shattering, perhaps interesting just to see how everyhting is getting on and laid out at the moment.
