Superb! The Edwardians were a highlight of my visit – though let’s face it nearly everything was a highlight. It took three straight days of listening to the blues to get the smile off my fizzog! 😎
And the Tutor just looks so evocative in that sunburst finish…
At risk of blatant advertising, by the way, I’ve finally posted my Autumn display pics from my Box Brownie that I’ve been banging on about over on Historic for months a few threads back. Next time I’ll hope for a little softer light and use slower film, but you’re a bit limited with just three f-stops and a 1/30th-ish shutter speed. Nonetheless I find something appealing about using a 1930-ish camerra to snap 1930-ish aircraft. Maybe I’m just a bit pots?

Lovely photos there. I agree with Paul F, those photos do sum up what is special about old warden very well.
Roll on April 22nd. I cant wait to be back there.

Very nice pictures Tommy – the one of the Avro Triplane and Boxkite replicas together just about sums up what’s so special about Old Warden displays for me.
And the setting sun gives such good lighting to the photos too.
10/10 Sir!

(Note to self – Must get back to OW again this summer, been away far too long 😮 )
