Shuttleworth Camel first flight

You ‘just’ need to invite Gene and Kermit over to help out for the family flight, surely?

Let us hope that all those from the Northern Aeroplane Workshops, who are still with us, can attend when their Camel has its public debut.
Would be great to see a proper Triplane, Pup, Camel, Snipe formation but expect a lack of experienced pilots will prevent that.

Case in point: I haven’t posted any congratulations yet on Facebook as I’d forgotten who started the project and I didn’t want to ignore their efforts.

Wonderful. Far too many years have passed without an authentic Sopwith Camel in UK skies. Well Done to the Northern Aeroplane Workshops and the Shuttleworth Collection for putting that right.
