For those who’ve not already seen, the Collection’s revised its show schedule this year and the first event is this Sunday. There’s a list of all the year’s events here: http://www.shuttleworth.org/event-calendar.asp

“Shuttleworth Collection Flying Day”
Sunday 28th April
Gates Open: 9am
Admission:
Online bookings in advance: Adult – £20
ONLINE BOOKINGS WILL CLOSE 2pm SATURDAY 27th APRIL
(Please ensure you have access to a working printer BEFORE you proceed to purchase advance tickets. You WILL need to print your ticket at the end of the process).
On the day at the gate: Adult – £25
Accompanied children FREE up to 16 years.
A Shuttle Bus will be departing from Biggleswade train station at approximately 11.25am, the return journey will leave Shuttleworth at 17.30pm from the main gate in front of the visitor centre.
Cost – £9.50 return, £5 single, Children up to 16 yrs FREE.

The flying day begins with a historic vehicle parade at 1.15pm along the flight line.

I think the Camel’s due to arrive at Old Warden sometime around July this year. It’ll then be covered and painted. The engine was on show at December’s open workshop event.

Thanks, here’s another swinging shot of the Brooklands Camel.
Hopefully the Collection will be able to replicate that scene with their own example before too much longer.
