Ah, I see there is a dog in both pictures…missed it first look. Great stuff. Woof.

I wondered about that, but the co-incidence with TVAL’s 3 flyers (plus one in diorama in Omaka) was strong 🙂

None of the 4 potential UK flyers originated with TVAL

I was going to say “Oi! Don’t take _all_ of ‘our’ SE5a’s!”, but then I realised that the more of them go, the more variety of types stay here. As it sounds like we aren’t going to get an ANZAC Day show here (April 25th, that I’d penciled in going to), looks like I’ll be fore-going the Nov 8-9 re-enactment weekend 1.5 hours drive away for the TVAL airshow an hour’s jet ride and 2.5 hours of driving away.

Potentially as many as 4.

In the near future they should be able to do it with two Se5a’s

Here’s the original photo

Nice picture…but where’s the dog?
Every squadron photo from WW1 had a dog in it.

Not really, when you consider that 92 sqn haven’t actually operated any ‘modern aircraft’ for 2 decades now.

Interesting but wouldn’t it have made more sense to have recreated the picture with modern aircraft?
The comparison would have made more sense.
