Well, what a superb event. The decision to put the aircraft in the paddock for closer inspection was truly inspired. It was a lot of extra hard work for the engineers but it really did make for a superb event. Ass to this the lack of wind and clear skies and it meant we had the first proper “Shuttleworth Evening” for a good few years.
The ground crew entered into the spirit of the event
Dapper Dave!
This gentleman rode his cycle to and from the event
The Untouchables!
The revised layout for this show certainly worked.
There were many different views to be had!
The Vehicle Parade, it’s a shame the Napier Railton couldn’t join in

ITMA!
Ok on with the aviation. Paul Stone in the Provost put one on of the nicest displays I have seen in this aircraft.

It was nice to see an aerobatic Tiger display
And a very nice PT22 display

I really liked the Fournier display, echoes of The Skyhawks

Yet another set of superb images. The SE5 and the moon shot is my favourite. I also like the ground pictures, nice compositions.
Thanks

Great shot. And to get 2 other planes in the shot as well!! Clever stuff.
Anyone would think it was total luck 😀

Shiny Tomtit

Obligatory moon shot!

Dusk is when Old Warden comes alive
The Edwardians in perfect conditions

It doesn’t get any better than this at an airshow anywhere on the planet. A very big thanks to everyone who worked particularly hard at this event to make it so special, but credit has to go to Andy Preslent for the inspiration.
