Very nice images, it is nice sometimes to not zoom right in on the subject, and these pre-war types seem to look so much better with plenty of sky and clouds behind them.
Some of the images at first glance in your link actually look like air to airs!:)

Nice photos, i really like the Gladiator one. I’d quite like to go to one of the Evening airshows one day.

Ah, thanks Nick! I hadn’t spotted that. Great to see the Locomobile up and about once more, and good to see the Railton getting the Regal treatment.
I wasn’t there this time around, aiming to be at the next Military Pagaent though.
No worries Wiseman, I know what you mean. Unfortunately after two months the artistic charms wears a bit thin! 😀

I feel for you AdlerTag and wish you all the blue skies this summer for some great air shows.
It was a purely esthetic comment :)… and I stick to it.

You wouldn’t be tired of blue skies if you lived locally wiseman! 😀 We’ve had alot of cloudy, windy, and/or rainy conditions this year. I don’t think any of the pre-WW1 aircraft at Shuttleworth have flown yet this year because the wind/weather has been difficult.
Great shots though Nick, any more?

Great “formation” shot of the Tomtit. The Gladiator shot in context is very nice.
The cloudy skies make a more interesting backrgound for these birds. I’m tired of pure blues when I look at these pix.
