Shuttleworth Pageantry – An Oldtimer's view

Absolutely brilliant, and in 20+ years of going to deepest beds HAVE NEVER seen the 3 AVRO’s in the air together. MOTF says Airbedane was outrageous. Look for his smirk landing the Blackburn!

Albert

Its hung up because it taking up hangar space needed for flyers. Dont think there are any short to medium term plans to taxy her. Wouldnt she be more appropriate in the Vehicle parade 😀

(I in no way endorse the policy of hanging any aircraft from any roof, however in this case its probably a good idea) (what about Swiss Hunters hanging from cavern roofs??…………………SHUT UP!!!!)

Cracking shots! Any Old Warden show after that will be an anti-climax! They couldn’t do better than the Pageant…unless they fly the Humming Bird and the Lysander as well. BTW, does anyone know if the Flea will ever taxi again, as it appears to be hung up inside the hangar roof permanently!

I wish I had a camera to take a photograph of the Tutor basking in the warm evening glow at the end of the day. It looked fantastic!

Aren’t you lucky…

Great photographs!

This was my first ever visit to Shuttleworth and I must agree with everyones comments on what a marvellous show it proved to be.

From start to finish it was absolutely brilliant.

Everything was so unique, capped off with a scintillating display by the Spitfire.

I wish I had a camera to take a photograph of the Tutor basking in the warm evening glow at the end of the day. It looked fantastic!

Well done to all involved!

Paul

What a super shot of the Avro’s – one could almost believe they’re in formation………
Oh, and the grin was realy a grimace, it’s the best I can do, nowadays.

All the Best, Old Timer,

AnOldTimer.

What lovely shots.

I do think the Tutor looks better in her new paint scheme rather than all yellow, do you?. 😉

I think an evening show is in order this Saturday, make a change to get out while the weathers good.

BP.
