I’m saddened somewhat to announce that this Sunday’s Summer Air Display and PFA Party In The Park at Old Warden aerodrome has been cancelled.
Cancellation is not a decision that’s ever taken lightly but it’s just such unusual circumstances.

If anyone among you has any favours outstanding with the weather Gods, now’s the time to pull them in for Saturday 14th July.

Great shame, Seeting is also off this weekend, although that should go ahaed later in the year. Certainly doesn’t look like improving this side of the weekend but fingers crossed it does soon.

Yes Dave.
The situation is a bit fluid (like the mud) and the aviation trustee Mr Tony Haig-Thomes has made a further anouncement since this morning.
‘Although the formal Shuttleworth Collection air display is cancelled on Sunday 1st July.
The airfield will remain open and the PFA Party In The Park will go ahead as planned.’
