pretty sure I’m going tomorrow but as I’m a first time visitor can someone advise ref car parking… is it close enough to the action that I can pop back for my sarnies/deckchair (no step ladders here!) or do I have to carry it all round all day…

Tomorrow is indeed THT’s last air-show in charge at the novelty rock emporium.
I do also believe that he will addressing the great unwashed in Hangar 5 at some point. Although the brief I read said ‘Members only’. Now whether that means members of the SVAS or members of the vintage jet organisation who are lunching in H5 tomorrow, I don’t know. I’ll probably heckle from thr back–nothing new there then. :):):)

The cars are right behind the fence for the display line – a lot of people just set up camp around their car. So no – no problem at all 🙂

Car Parking at Old Warden..
No problem parking.
The field is big enough for all and many sit at their cars and eat and watch flying.
The perfect place for a picnic.
The ground slopes down to the barrier so the whole field is like a natural amphitheatre..
I’m going and Robbo will be about also.
I’ll PM you my mobile number if you’d like to meet up.
Just pray for the weather now.
All the best
Andy
