I’m currently working on a new DVD release on the Shuttleworth Collection, I’m enjoying it so much, I’ve just posted a 2 1/2 minute trailer for everyone to enjoy.
No music, no commentary just lovely stereo sounds of classic piston engines!

I basically filmed at 4 airshows for this DVD, there was a site fee for filming at each airshow, basically the trust have ended up with a reasonably large amount of money upfront for the filming already! I’ll also be prepared to offer the shop copies at heavily discounted prices as well.

Just a thought sconnor, it would be nice if the Trust made some money out of this, it is their aircraft after all. Are you making a donation?

I started another thread about this but it got bumped down the list!
Thanks for the bump on this one though – I’ve had 5,000 downloads of the 4 clips so far – and I’ve only mentioned it on 2 forums!

Corking stuff and a good Valentines Day present too 🙂
What would be really good would be to have a pilot’s eye view with fixed cameras inside the cockpit. Then we could all see what THT, Dodge and Airbedane experience. Me jealous? Almost definately!

Damm shame. 🙁
Btw, do you have any plans to release ‘Spitfire Sound & Vision which you were working on yonks ago?
Cheers
Paul
May be the next thing I work on – it was going to be a DVD release of “A Spitfires Story” but I’m holding off on that for a couple of months.
BTW There will be another clip on the site later this evening 🙂

I do, but I’m not sure if it will make it to the final cut! There’s lots of material to choose from.
Paul, no minicams I’m afraid, Shuttleworth don’t generally allow them.
Damm shame. 🙁
I wonder why, as they used to.
A few of the old Aviation Action tiltes had minicam footage from Shuttleworth planes and I believe they did when you filmed ‘Battle For The Skies’! 🙂

My God I love Shuttleworth, I am pining for May already.
Me too – I didn’t get there last year at all! Not going to make the same mistake this year.
