Does anyone know why the Flea has been hung from the hangar roof. This photo from 1993 shows the aircraft taxing up and and down the flightline. It just seems odd for the collection to hang the aircraft up when space is not an issue with this aicraft.
Would that be Airbedane in the cockpit.
Septic.

The Fleas are horrid little aircraft, but they have an interesting history.
There is an interesting piece about the Flea’s history in episode 10 of this season’s Making History, click here to listen

Apparently after they were banned some were adapted to take the dangerous tendancies out of them. Has the Shuttleworth one been adapted? Is it actually theoretically able to fly? Or is it an original deathtrap?

Fleas!! Bloddy lethal things.
As they only used to taxy the aircraft I believe they have put her into “long term storage”as they dont have the time and resources to keep her running at the moment.
Its probably (I hope) the highest a Flea has ever got above the ground.
