Actually, Sandy’s second photo of the burned 737 looks remarkably similar to the 737 consumed by fire at MAN with a significant loss of life.
As for what anyone does with their models it’s up to them. When I was a kid most of mine became fodder for .22 pellets.

Blame my Cat.
He knocked a heavy statuette of the top of a wardrobe which landed on my poor 737, snapping it in half and smashing the landing gear beyond repair. Attempts to glue it all back together proved fruitless and irritating.
So I did this. An interesting experiment.
