Does anyone have any information about the post-war careers (if they had any!) and the eventual fates of the numerous Si 204s that were acquired by the RAF at the end of the last war? I understand that they bore the serials VM466, VM885-7, VN101-140, VN885 and VP320-339 and AM numbers 4, 5, 28, 42 and 56 and, apparently unmarked, c/n 221588, 251922, 321308, 322127, 324523 and 351547 (although these identities may not be mutually exclusive). I have been unable to find any reference to a Si 204 being operated after 14 December 1945.
I am particularly interested in the Si 204 which carried AM number 42 and was operated by Miles Aircraft. Between what dates was it used by Miles? Was it used only for communications and transport purposes or was it examined by Miles in connection with their various plans for post-war light transport aircraft? I have not been able to find any reference to it in the standard texts concerning the company.

get yourself a copy of War Prizes by Phil Butler, published by Midland Counties but I guess the information you have might be pulled from here anyway
