Whilst the promised Spitfire did not appear on Saturday, and nobody said why, it was a privelege to watch real F1 cars (Brabhams, Coopers, Lotuses etc) on a real circuit whilst also watching an Isaacs Fury, a Chrislea Ace and a Piper Cub (amongst many distinguished others) taking off and landing as part of the historic aircraft display. Has anybody (eg “Lotus 72”) got a full listing of what was there?
