There’s a surprise…

Seems to work OK to me – mostly pilot notes, but well scanned and informative.

Very good, I hope their catalogue gets larger.
Some rare pics on there aswel, such as the XB-36 with its tracked undercarriage on the site header, and this one of a trio 64 sqn Javs.

Hi All,
Glad you enjoyed the link,
I personally foound a mc 200 & a G 50 manual ( each appx just less than 200 pages).
There seems to be something for everyone.
I also hope that the content will increase during 2010 etc…:)
cheers

Ive had mixed results with it.
The smaller downloads seam ok but anything larger then a few meg seam to always stop wile half downloaded.
The ones that work are still great!
Must say thanks for the link Jerry

It’s not working for me – “Firefox can’t find the server at avialogs.com” 😡

Works for me, but seems you have to register to download. I do have my doubts about the legal side of some of those manuals :/

Hello,
I am managing Avialogs and would like to clarify some points:
– You have not to worry about security issues, etc, content is 100% safe and scanned.
– The current hosting provider is terrible and everything will be moved to a new host (dedicated infra) within 3 weeks.
– With the move, a new version of the site, including public domain, orphan works and documents, photos, movies allowed for distribution will be published
– Source of documents are flying club, airline pilots and personal collections.
The goal is to create a global aviation lilbrary within a non profit structure. The current web site was a “teaser” to check if there was an interest, answer from traffic is definitely yes.
I am now in contact with several museums and organisations, I hope to have good news to be posted soon.
About myself : private pilot, I was involved in France with homebuilt/antique aircraft, I live now in Canada and my current goal is to get one Yak18 🙂 You can contact me , all comments/suggestions are welcome.

Okay, not many “rarities” on the link below, but perhaps still of interest:
http://www.agplane.nl/manuals/index.html
The freely downloadable manuals look good on screen, and perhaps on paper as well!
Probably no need really to go to the “webshop” elsewhere on that website… :p

Comes up ‘under maintainance’ when I try it…
