Good to have you on board Sahaym.
I have personal connections with Zambia (my parents have lived there for donkeys, livin’ it up with the expat lifestyle) though I haven’t been there for nearly 2 years.
Most vivid recollection was a visit to the town of Mongu (hence my screen name!).

Yeah… to show its size, put it next to a 747. Then you will sorta get an idea how much bigger it is?
Welcome to the forum btw. 🙂 Good to have you here.

Looks big, but then Concorde isn’t the biggest of aircraft itself really.
Be very interesting to see, have to be at LHR on the first day, if I don’t fly to Toulouse to see it first!

🙂 thanks for the welcome everyone. I have been going thru this forum for a very long time now, just got the chance of expressing myself now. I just finished my undergrad in Aerospace Engineering so am glad to be in between some aircraft fanatics here. ahhh…..yes….Mosi……I am from India but born and brought up in Zambia…..and I love that beer…miss it like crazy in the US….good to know that you were in Livingstone…hope you liked it there…

Sahaym – you like Mosi? It’s a very good lager. I once had a bottle on an ATR-42 out of Livingstone, overflying the Vic Falls.

It’s going to be one big bird!
I can just imagine safety demonstrations on the aircraft: “This aircraft has 18 emergency exits…” Will be exciting to see it in the flesh.
