Suprisingly, this airline has been in the making since the late 1990’s, but failed to raise the necessary capital and was eventually abandoned, but is now being resurectted because they are taking advantage of America West’s pullout of Columbus.
They are being marketed as an ‘ultra low-cost carrier’, and are being modelled after Ryanair. Operations are scheduled to begin in late’06/early’07, and they plan to operate either Boeing 737NG’s, or Airbus A320 aircraft, but no orders have yet been placed.

That is a crazy livery…
and no orders yet is indeed odd. Maybe they’ll pick up the Primaris 787 orders. 😀

I might be wrong, but if an airline plans to start as soon as the end of this year, would they not have placed aircraft orders by now? Like so many startups, I can’t see this one taking off.
