Tim Moore and team can now be found care of the web at http://www.skysportengineering.co.uk . Included within this is a picture of the Hawker Demon frame currently available.

Blimey, Tim’s gone and got a website? Must be getting soft in his old age!! 😀 Nice to see The Trumpet is now circulating to a wider audience too, stunning bit of journalism that, well worth the £50 rrp. 😉
Galdri, you’ve got it about right there. I wouldn’t have thought much has been done in the last twelve months at all. Then again, there wasn’t a huge amount of progress in the twelve months previous to that either. I blame the volunteer, he was bloody useless! 😉 As for bits of the puzzle missing, that’s certainly true. Beau bits are very hard to come by, especially some of the major items such as engines, propellors, outer wings, empennage. There are a lot of parts and major assemblies (fuselage, centre section, etc) present for G-DINT, but the Beaufighter is a very complex aeroplane as I’m sure TFC will testify – and theirs has been worked on full time for some years.
That said, I’m actually quite relieved to hear she’s gone into storage and not been sold, as I know Tim’s very attached to the old girl.

I do not think there is going to be any progress on the Beau for some time. Too many important parts missing from the puzzle:(
I’m always happy to be proven wrong in this regard;)

Thanks for the link David. I was trying to find some information on their Beaufighter not so long ago. Shame to see it’s in storage :(.
I was hoping for some progress. Oh well, one day.

Paul
