Skyways logo help please

Does anybody have a clear picture or drawing of the Skyways globe logo that was used in the company’s early years on Lancastrians, Yorks etc? I have seen several pictures but none of them shows the logo clearly. It appears to be handed, just to make things harder. I need it for a model of Lancastrian G-AHBU so ideally I need images of both sides.

Thanks Adrian but again that’s the later, stylised version. I’ve found what I needed, which has a more detailed globe and three parallel lines:

Argh! And I never thought of looking in our archives for adverts in Flight and Aeroplane! Thanks, Brian.

It’s close but I really need an earlier version of this which has the arrow (which looks very like a BOAC Speedbird here) is made up of thin parallel lines. It dates from the time before the company’s aircraft had blue cheat lines.

Ref rochford’s reply – Thanks. Yes, Welsh models do a 1/144 York but again they’ve got the later version of the logo.
