Digging through the negative books I came across these shots from the Aspen Air show back in 1993 when I sent Denise up to photograph then-Woody Woods Mk.16 Spitfire SL721 before it changed paint schemes and moved to Canada…shoulda tried to pair it up with Bill Greenwood’s for a two ship, but oh well…cloudy morning that morning, the lighting was hit and miss, as you can see…

Daz & Mark,
Is this the shot you were looking for?
‘Woody’ Woods flying the XVI and Gerry Billings flying the ex Don Plumb IX still with the rear cockpit panelled over. This was on the occasion of the acquisition by ‘Woody’ of the latter.

An uncredited photograph commissioned and gifted by ‘Woody’ Woods.

Daz-
They’re not as sharp as they look (except the silhouette one, it’s fine) We downsized them because of the bad lighting…it made them just SLIGHTLY blurry and you can’t really see it in the pics at this size…still, if you want ’em larger, give me an e-mail address or e-mail me at corsair166b@yahoo.com and I’ll upsize them for ya…

Nice one, Mark 🙂
I wouldn’t mind larger versions if you can e-mail them to me?
