Sleek plane, nice flights

Thanks for that pic,robc, it was what I wanted to illustrate my comments on a recent flight Southampton – Bergamo and back.
Both trips were certainly my most enjoyable for some years, how nice not to be at 35,000ft in a 747! Much nicer being the airborne tourist and seeing all the sights – luckily the weather was fine both ways.
Travelling from Southampton is very easy for me, short Jet Ferry trip, then a taxi to the airport, so much easier than lugging my bag onto a train, and the check-in etc at both Southampton and Bergamo was quick and easy.
As far as this experience goes I can’t fault Flybe in any way (CALM DOWN,Wys!!!), and I have to comment that more attention would be paid to the Safety Briefing if the cabin staff always included the blonde lady who was on the return flight on 15 May!
The only bad point of the whole thing was the cost of a phone call I made from a callbox in Southampton Airport to a (fixed) number in Spain- duration 5m5s, cost £10.75.:eek:
